Prof. Galal Hatem, Chancellor of Umm Al Quwain University, launched the Communication and Crisis Mural at the Communication and Crisis Program - Umm Al Quwain University. The Communication and Crisis Mural is a practical and applied simulation of communication and crisis applications in institutions and government agencies. It gives students an opportunity for practical application and a link between learning outcomes and labor market requirements. The University Chancellor expressed his pleasure for starting this mural because it comes as an implementation of linking the learning to the labor market requirements, and intensifying the applied and practical aspect of academic plans.

The mural was performed by Dr. Omnia Salem, Lecturer and coordinator of the Communication and Crisis Program at Umm Al Quwain University. Dr. Omnia confirmed that she was very happy to start the mural so that the practical applications of the Communication and Crisis Program are the same as the applications used in the work environment of the specialization, thus preparing students for their jobs in the future.

Communication and Crisis students extended their sincere thanks to Dr. Omnia Salem, who came up with the idea, to Prof. Galal Hatem, Dr. Hani Bakr, the Vice chancellor, Prof. Haitham Abdel Rahman for the full support for the students to implement such non-traditional, creative activities which enhance the learning outcomes linked to the needs of employment and labor market. And that makes the educational process more attractive and effective for the students.

The mural aims to reflect the most important potential crises and their probability ratios. The main mural contains a group of sub-murals with each crisis, its diagnosis, strategies and options for confronting it.
